As the lead instructional designer at National University of Health Sciences, Chris brings with him a wealth of knowledge that crosses the span of developing and implementing new learning modules for faculty to ensuring that student learning is taking place. Chris received his Master of Science degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Western Illinois University. He continues to grow in his field by participating and leading many conversations with various organizations and continuing education opportunities. As a well-versed individual who prides himself on his talents as an instructional designer, Chris has over 25 years of experience starting from an internship at Motorola which, progressed to working with other institutions ranging from the American Association of Diabetes Educators to University of Phoenix.
Chris has an ideal set of curriculum development skills that help him create quality and professional e-learning programs, in part because he keeps the learner's needs as an ever present consideration. He has grown tremendously in the 5+ years I worked with him to become an excellent project manager and skilled at working with subject matter experts. He is one of few people I would hire if I had the resources.
I have known Chris for many years. Chris is a very intelligent individual that shares creative ideas and technologies to assist his team with their tasks. He is very good in researching information and always finds solutions. I like the way he thinks when it comes to interactivity and keeping students engaged. Chris is a valuable asset to any team.
Chris approaches e-learning development with needs of the learner in mind. His attention to detail and capability to focus on usability make his e-learning programs not only effective but also successful. As a project manager Chris has the ability to communicate effectively with SMEs, breaking down complex instructional problems into easy to understand e-learning solutions. The combination of his experience as a teacher and passion for learning make Chris a valuable coworker.
